Today William is wearing underwear for practice and is therefore not wearing pants (why do all that laundry?), so after lunch when his hands were grimy and I asked him to go wash, he said,
"Mom, will you get my pants on so I can wipe this yucky stuff off my hands on my pants?"

That's great. I can't get kate to stop washing her hands, plus if ANY water gets on her shirt she wants to change it. Err.

Melanie, yes. William is one oft the most precious thing that's ever happened to me, but the stitches, messes, bumps, bruises and rough housing are just more than I bargained for. I love him to death though.
