In the past week, Mary has really expressed how she feels about certain happenings. Sometimes these things are "berry pretty," some are "a hard time" (meaning they are difficult), but my favorite of all is when things are "resgusting."
I can't remember what the first thing was that I heard her call "resgusting." Yesterday it was beans. I was scooping beans from the crockpot. "Resgusting!" She didn't eat them for dinner, either.
Ha! She is so cute. I made homemade mac and cheese on Monday and Kate took one look at it and said "Where's my mac and cheese? I don't like this" Maybe I've made the kraft kind to often.
In our house, these kinds of words have a way of creeping into our family vernacular. They're too cute to correct. I know I've told you about that chubby little cubby all stuffed with honey, Penny Woo (Winnie the Pooh). We often shop at Jason's Penny (JC Penney) and we sometimes watch Super Wide (Super Why) on PBS. Our state bird is the mopping bird and a person who write a a book is an authorstrator. What a wonderful age this is!
BTW, I thought your beans smelled pretty good and I don't even like beans.

Now I'm dying to know what exactly she finds resgusting.

Tonight, when I called her for dinner she asked "does it have beans in it tonight?"
Apparently, the previous two nights have been beany - chili and 15-bean soup. Tonight was chicken noodle.

Very cute Lisa!
