My digital camera came in the mail today! W00t. Maybe I'll post some oh-so-nice pictures here ala Chris.

I suppose I now have a more vested interest in a web-photo book publisher that I started for Kolb.

Time passes you buy...

Lisa is having her wisdom teeth taken out today at 1:30. Her sister is going to take care of her today and I have tomorrow off to help nurse her back to health. I think she's pretty scared about it.

On a lighter note, we found a nice apartment complex that we submitted our application paperwork to. Since we're breaking our current lease--which will show up on your credit report--we're worried that we may get denied. We've explained the whole situation to the new complex and they seemed understanding and gave us suggestions on how to make it look better on your report. Hopefully it won't be an issue. The complex is very nice, it's north of Plano in Frisco. And there are hot chicks that work in the office. Because of that Lisa wants me to convice "the Chris'" to move into the complex. :-) I'm sure the companionship idea was in there too, but setting them up is a #1 priority. BWAHA.

The apartment complex has offered to waive some of the fees for us to move out as long as we give 60 days notice. I have no problem with that, so we're going to be moving in about 60 days. Weeeee. Anybody know of any nice apartments?

My car was broken into...again. Lisa and I are now actively seeking ways to get out of our lease. We're not too keen on paying thousands of dollars to break the lease, so we're trying to persuade the apt complex to let us out of it. A few "6 cars were broken into in the past 3 months" signs and some newspaper ads might be enough, ya think?

Lisa has decided that my time is worth at least $100/hr. At least that was our agreed upon rate for my contracting job (which may or may not happen). So now whenever I do something with someone other than her she keeps saying she'll bill them. I guess a little extra income wouldn't hurt :-)

I just read a rather interesting article. It's about writing a good blog, something which I know nothing about. I write about my experiences and sometimes my thoughts, neither of which should be compared to great writing. As much as the article convicts me of needing to clean up my style, I've decided that I'm not a literary master in hidding and should let my disjointed, random collection of thoughts flow from the floodgates.

That said, I didn't use one eplises in the whole post! I'm no master, but I can have goals :-)

Back to the grindstone.

Whew, what a weekend.

I took friday off work so I could be at the hospital when David and Leah's baby was born. The baby was born saturday morning at ~9:30am...a good 27 hours after I showed up. I didn't get any sleep while I was there...just lots of waiting...and worrying...and talking...

Elijah David Clark was 9 pounds 6 ounces...I finally got to see him around 7pm on Saturday...he's big and soft. I'm now officially Uncle Doug...and my grandparents are now Great Grandparents....wow.

Then on Sunday night I was called into work...apparently we were going to miss our deadline today...so I went in around 5:30 and left at 12:30a. And I'm about to leave for work....have a good day.
